Collection: Crossbows

Due to recent events, we have made the decision to remove all crossbows from our website and will no longer be selling them. As an archery company, it was expected that we would also offer crossbow products. We have always thoroughly screened customers by verifying their ID and address and thankfully this person did not purchase their weapon from us. It is however unsettling to associate the perpetrator's image with the horrific crime they committed. This has led us to believe that as a responsible company, we do not want to enable potential attacks in the future. At Red Frog, we have always believed that crossbows should be regulated similarly to firearms, as they can be just as, if not more, deadly. Our hearts go out to the victims and their family, and we sincerely hope that the new government will swiftly implement stricter regulations to try and ensure that attacks like this are unlikely to happen again. I would like to hope that other retailers will at least have a moratorium on selling crossbows until legislation can be introduced to control the sale of these weapons.
