Enjoy an archery experience or beginners course at our new archery centre based near Beith in North Ayrshire. We shoot indoors all year round, so no matter what the weather you will enjoy your experience without getting wet. We have full wheelchair access to allow disabled the opportunity to enjoy archery too.

We believe that everybody should have the chance of learning from qualified coaches whether a beginner’s 5 hour course or our 1 ¼ hour archery experience events. As a registered Ltd company, we comply with Archery GB and Scottish Archery safety protocols and regulations. We also have a focus on child protection and our lead coaches have PVG certification.
Archery Experience. 1 ¼ hours From £20 per person
Our taster sessions are just for fun, and are for people with little or no experience of archery. Using high performance fibre-glass bare bows and the relevant safety equipment, you will be taught the correct way to draw and aim a bow as well as the safety rules for shooting on a range. It’s surprising how quickly you will be hitting the target. Once everybody is happy with shooting, we’ll have a competition and realise your true Robin Hood or Katnis Everdean. Our classes are for a maximum of 4 shooters so that we can give you plenty of attention and have a fun atmosphere. For insurance purposes the minimum age for this activity is 12 years old.
Beginners Course. 1x hours 2 hour session max 2 people £75 per person
Our beginners course runs over 2 consecutive weeks with a maximum of 4 participants. If you want to take archery up as a hobby and potentially join a club this is the course for you.
We provide a structured progressive training regime using Olympic style take down recurve bows tailored to suit each person. After completing your training, you can approach any archery club to become a member, although we cannot guarantee membership of any clubs and they may wish to put you through a safety check before allowing you to join. For insurance purposes the minimum age for this course is 14 years old.
On the course you will learn :-
- Safety equipment what it’s for and how to use it
- Range safety rules
- How to assemble a bow
- How to warm up before shooting
- Using T Draw technique, anchor point and correct posture
- How to shoot bare bow style and then progressing to using a sight
- How to safely collect arrows
- Scoring a match
- Cooling down after shooting
- How to disassemble and store equipment
- Just for fun we will also introduce you to different styles of bows
All participants perceived to be both safe and competent will be awarded a certificate of completion.
