Frames are manufactured from Forged Monel Alloy, a blend of nickel, silver and copper that is durable, corrosion resistant and hypo-allergenic. The lenses are decentered spherical (thicker in the middle and tapered toward the edges, eliminating distortion and increasing optical clarity. All O'Neill lenses are Class 1 quality.
