We are frequently asked, what size of bow do I need and what draw weight? The most accurate way to match a bow to your stature is to have your actual draw length measured. This has nothing to do with your height or age and everything to do with your physical dimensions. Select a bow which is to short, long or the wrong draw weight and your archery experience will just end up being painful, frustrating or both.

How do I measure my draw length? Simplest way is to go to a pro shop where they can do this for you. If that is not convenient there are several ways to do this (always measure in inches). With your arms held wide out to either side and fingers straight have someone measure from finger tip to finger tip and then divide by 2.5. You can also measure from the centre of your chest to your wrist with your arm again out at 90 degrees to your body. Take the average of these 2 measurements and this should give you a good idea of your draw length.

 17" to 20" = 54" Bow
 20" to 22" = 58" Bow
 22" to 24" = 62" bow
 24" to 26" = 64" to 66" bow
 26" to 28" = 66" to 68" bow
